Conspiracy Theories

I've heard many world-domination conspiracy theories thanks to YouTube and they range from a coalition between Zionists and the Vatican to an extraterrestrial race of humanoid reptilians cross-breeding with humans to create the royal bloodlines that we have today. Sometimes the freemasons/illuminati are the main players in in the world, sometimes they are being controlled by higher-ups. While there are interesting things to think about, be on your guard and don't believe everything you hear; truths corrupted by lies are easier to swallow than straight lies.

So-called "Christian Feminism"

Believe it or not, there are people who call themselves "Christian Feminists" who want to see what they call "equality" in the church. "Equality" to them means a rebellion against what God has revealed in his Word about right order. They feel that the fact that men are given a position of authority over them means that what women are called to do is somehow less important, and so they rebel against God and take roles in the church and the family which God never intended them to have.

The fact is that the Bible is full of what one could call "ant-feminist." Some women may view this as "oppressive," but they forget that God loves them and He knows how He made them.

Passages that may be considered by some to be against feminism:

Ephesians 5:22-24
Colossians 3:18

Of Pit Hair

Just to start this blog off letting you know just what kind of random things can be on here (and in my head), this first (or second I guess) blog post will be about hair or, more specifically, underarm hair of the woman.

Now a normal adult female human will have hair growing in the armpit area. It is a completely normal and natural occurrence, yet so many women in contemporary American culture think it is "gross" or even insanitary and insist upon removing it by shaving it off with a razor or pulling it out. The first method (from what I hear. I cannot speak from experience.) creates course, scratchy stubble and razor burn and cuts, the other (again, not speaking from experience) greatly increases the occurrence of ingrown hairs.

This all seems to stem from the idea that pit hair=masculine. Whether this idea started before or after it became popular for women to remove their underarm hair who can say?

I personally don't see the point in women removing the hair from under their arms. I can't see how underarm hair would make a woman less attractive. In fact, I will go as far as to say that I would rather a woman not shave or wax under her arms.

Greetings!

Greetings and welcome to my new blog! This blog is the younger sister to my art blog and, therefore, will be about things other than art.

The main reason for me creating this blog is for me to have a space where I can write about things without directly annoying my "facebook friends" with things that most of them would probably disagree with and even be offended by. Anything from theology to political views to conspiracy theories could end up here. Hopefully, I will write about things in a thought-provoking way that will help my readers think about what they believe and not be afraid question what they are told, especially by me.

I believe it is important to say that my opinions are heavily influenced by the belief that the Bible is the true and holy Word of God and that I take literally what was written to be taken literally. If you notice anything I say that contradicts God's Word then please let me know.

I hope that you enjoy my thoughts and theories, and I would love to have your comments!
